# About

## What is ZDX Finance?

ZDX Finance is a DeFi protocol that allows users to hold positions on the blockchain that resemble real-world assets such as stocks and bonds by generating synthetic assets called zAssets. The zAssets are minted by depositing collateral and burned with the return of collateral upon redemption. The zAssets are also listed on DEX in stablecoin pairs, creating a decentralized market for zAssets.

### Features

#### Collateral Debt Positon (CDP)

ZDX FINANCE allows you to issue synthetic assets linked to the price of a stock or other asset by pledging stablecoin as collateral.

#### Decentralized Exchange (DEX)

Synthetic assets (zAssets) can be traded on a Decentralized Exchange. You can also earn rewards by providing liquidity with synthetic assets paired with other tokens.
